2-Day Tournament in early October

    Managers must meet with league officials 1/2 hour before game time to provide proof of insurance and team roster at CPW #1. Insurance and rosters may have been sent earlier. If so, you do not need to report in. Go directly to your assigned field.


SATURDAY POOL PLAY:

  1. ASA rules apply with exceptions!

  2. Three pool game guarantee, weather permitting (one game fulfills tournament requirement).

  3. Each team to provide (1 new/near new ball per day).

  4. Dugout choice based on first come first serve basis.

  5. Home team determined by flip of a coin.

  6. No infield practice after the first inning.

  7. No new inning to begin after 1 hour 15 minutes. Complete the inning. If the game is tied after the completion of the inning, a tie will be recorded for each team.

  8. Bat the lineup, submit team lineup to opposing team coaches and umpires.

  9. Courtesy runners for pitchers and catchers allowed but not required if necessary (last batted out).

  10. If Pitcher is removed she may re-enter the game the following inning.

  11. Pitchers allowed 5 warm up pitches 1st inning 3 pitches warm up after that.

  12. Game time will start at 1st warm up pitch thrown by the home team.

  13. Mercy rule is in effect with 10 run lead after 3 complete innings.


SUNDAY SEEDED PLAY (Single Elimination):

  1. All Pool Play rules in play, with the following EXCEPTIONS.

  2. Seeding will be determined as follows: winning percentage, fewest runs allowed, most runs for. If still tied, a coin flip will determine the higher seed.

  3. Home team determined by higher seed.

  4. If the game is tied at the completion of the time limit (1 hour and 15 minutes), The International tie breaker as written in the ASA rule book will be used to determine the winner.

  5. Seeds and game times will be posted at www.northshore-events.com following Saturday's pool play.


CHAMPIONSHIP GAME:

  1. Championship games played at CPW #1 and #2.

  2. No time limit for the championship game.

  3. Home team determined by higher seed. If teams have the same seed, a coin flip will determine the home team.

  4. Mercy rule: 8 runs after 5 innings.

  5. If after 7 innings and the game is tied, the International tie breaker as written in the ASA rule book will be used to determine the winner.

  6. TROPHIES AWARDED TO PLAYERS ON WINNING TEAM FROM EACH AGE GROUP
